A message from our owner Tom Plant about Operation Second Chance:

A few years ago, I attended a business dinner in Silver Spring, MD. A woman by the name of Cindy McGrew also attended the dinner and she brought along four soldiers. Each soldier was clearly suffering from some form of physical ailment. When dinner was over, Cindy stood up, introduced herself and the four soldiers. She talked about an organization that she had started a few years ago called Operation Second Chance. She talked about the young men and women who had been wounded in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and brought back to the US to be treated for some devastating wounds. She would go and visit these soldiers at the local hospitals and she would find that these young heroes would be getting good medical care but there was so much more help needed when the soldiers were released and were making the very difficult transition back to civilian life.

We at Paul Davis Restoration decided to offer our help to Cindy and Operation Second Chance by providing labor and materials to modify soldiers' homes for handicap accessibility.

We have been truly inspired by Cindy and all of her efforts to help our wounded heroes.
