Tom Plant: President/Owner - Tom has owned and operated the office in Gaithersburg for 21 years. His office has been awarded the District Office of The Year 12 times since 1991.Tom has been in the construction field for 24 years. He graduated from Middlebury College in 1979 and moved to the Washington DC area in 1983. Before becoming the owner of the PDR office in Gaithersburg , he was Vice President of a foreign manufacturer, marketing several products to the construction industry. Brock Merwin: Vice-President/General Manager - Brock graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990. Brock worked as a carpenter for a custom home builder from 1991 to 1994 and was hired by Paul Davis in 1994 as a superintendent. Brock was promoted to Production Manager in 2001 and again promoted to Vice- President and General Manager in 2006. Brock is registered as a Certified Restorer by the National Institute of Disaster Restoration. His also certified by IICRC in water damage restoration, applied structural drying and applied microbial remediation. Brock is married with two children and lives in Frederick , MD |

Batia Barsever: Business Manager - Batia has been with our office for 20 years. She manages the administrative staff in our office and keeps the operation well organized and running with efficiency. Batia is married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren and lives in North Bethesda. |

Bobby Burch:Senior Remodeling Estimator - Bobby has been involved with the construction industry for 26 years. After graduating from the University of Maryland , he spent 6 years in the US Navy. He has been a custom-home builder and for the last several years, Bobby has been estimating and selling remodeling projects throughout the Washington DC area. He has been a Montgomery County resident since 1981, married for 29 years with 3 children.

R. V. Swiger: Senior Estimator - A native of Montgomery County , R.V. has over 35 years experience in the construction industry. He has been a manager of a local lumber company, owned his own construction company for 18 years and was a senior sales rep for another remodeling company for 7 years. R.V. currently holds a general contractor license for the State of Maryland . PDR&R hired R.V. as an estimator in 2003. He is married with two children residing in Laytonsville. |

Charlie Speake: Senior Estimator - A native of Maryland , Charlie graduated from the University of Maryland in 1980 and entered into the family construction business. He worked for the family business until his father retired and was hired as an estimator by PDR&R in 1995. Charlie has received several national estimating awards and is certified in water damage restoration and as an applied microbial remediation technician by IICRC. Charlie and his wife have four children and live in Columbia , MD. |

Mark Kirby: Estimator- With a 15 year background in remodeling, Mark decided to move into the water and fire restoration field in 2004. He is IICRC certified in water and fire restoration and is a RIA certified mold technician, supervisor and inspector. He started with PDR&R in October 2008 joining our estimating staff. He now resides in Washington County with his wife and daughter |

Bob Matney: Senior Remodeling Superintendent - Born and raised in Maryland , Bob started in residential construction in 1978. He became a licensed contractor and started his own residential remodeling company in 1986. Bob started working for a high-end remodeling firm in 2000 as a project manager. Bob was hired by Paul Davis in 2004 as a project manager/superintendent. Bob is married with two children and lives in Damascus , MD. |

Roger Davis: Production Manager - Roger owned and operated his own remodeling company from 1986-1995. He was hired by PDR&R as a lead carpenter in 1996 and was promoted to superintendent in 1999. He won a national PDR&R award for highest annual production in dollar volume for job production. He was promoted to production manager in 2005. Roger is married with three children and currently resides in Silver Spring . |

Phil Rodriguez: Mitigation Manager - Phil was hired by PDR&R in 2003 as a highly-skilled carpenter and worked in this position for 2 years. He was promoted to mitigation manager after being certified with IICRC in water damage restoration, fire and smoke restoration and mold remediation. Phil is fluent in two languages and has over 10 years experience in restoration and remodeling. |

Michelle Workman: Contents Specialist- Michelle began working for Paul Davis in October 2008. She has been in the industry for 3 years, and manages the contents division for PDR&R. Ricardo Rodriguez: Superintendent - Ricardo has been in the construction business for 17 years. For nine years he worked as a foreman for a large painting and remodeling company in the DC area. He was hired by PDR&R in 2000 as a lead carpenter. He was promoted to superintendent in 2005. Ricardo is married with two children and resides in Silver Spring . |

Paul Sumpter: Superintendent - Paul has over 32 years experience in the construction field with ten of those years as a general contractor. His hands-on experience is in nearly every phase of residential and commercial construction. He was hired by PDR&R in 2001 and was promoted to superintendent in 2003. |

Frank Jenkins- Superintendent- Frank was born in Sandy Spring MD and raised in Gaithersburg. From 1972 -1980, he served in the US Navy specializing in search and rescue.
He has been associated with custom home building and remodeling since 1980. Frank has four children and four grandchildren and currently lives in Damascus, MD. |

Vanesah Noechel: Marketing Representative- Vanesah joined Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling in May 2010. Her responsibilities include developing and maintaining insurance, commercial, and vendor referral accounts. Additionally, Vanesah will assist in continuing education seminars for insurance professionals and PDR&R branding.
Prior to joining PDR&R, Vanesah worked as a marketing representative for Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network. At CRDN, she was responsible for maintaining accounts and acquiring new partnerships.

Norris Gearhart: Norris has been involved with disaster response, mitigation, and repair for 25 years. He holds numerous national and international certifications and professional designations. He has served as a council member for the National Institute of Disaster Restoration and has been a presenter at three national conventions of the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration now the Restoration Industry Association.
He has worked in local and regional property claim management with Allsate Insurance Company, and Travelers Insurance Company. Norris owned and operated a disaster mitigation and restoration business in Frederick, MD. |

Jerry Yingling: Director of Emergency Services- Jerry is a native of Frederick County. He has been a residential, commercial and industrial restoration specialist for the last 15 years and has served as the Director of Emergency Services for PDR since 2007. Jerry holds numerous IICRC and HUD certifications for water, fire, smoke, and odor and mold remediation. He has completed remediation projects for the federal government. The most notable of which was as a first responder to the tragic 9/11 attack on the Pentagon. He has also worked as a mold remediation specialist and consultant to the Veteran Administration and the US Post Office on several projects. Jerry was also a Katrina and Rita emergency services first responder. Jerry still resides in Frederick with his son Jacob and daughter Jordan. |

Corey Gaquin: Estimator's Assistant- A Montgomery County native, Corey was hired by PDR in 2008 as an Assistant Estimator and evolved into working with both sales and production shortly after, recently taking on the role of Safety Manager in mid 2009. He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2007, earning an Associates degree in Building Construction and Bachelors degree in Residential Construction Management. Corey is IICRC certified in water damage restoration and has OSHA 10 safety certification. |
